In vitro Protocol Optimization of Turnip(Brassica rapa subsps.rapa)

This book emphasized on three points: first effect of growth conditions(Field and greenhouse) on endogenous sugar(sucrose, glucose, fructose and starch) content of turnip tuber and sugar trans-location during turnip tuber formation, second in vitro protocol optimization(sucrose,medium, photo-period and hormones(GA and BAP)) and third effect of BAP(15mg/l)containing medium in vitro condition on 21 turnip tuber related genes expression.

Mr. Temesgen Menamo is working in Jimma University college of Agriculture, Ethiopia, as lecturer and researcher. He completed his BSc from Haramaya University, Ethiopia, 2007 and MSc from Wageningen University,Netherlands, 2013 in Plant Biotechnology.
